Safari's Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP) aggressively drops third-party cookies, which means many of the popular affiliate tracking software solutions simply don't work on Safari. If your affiliate tracking relies on a frontend script, sometimes Safari and privacy browsers will silently block it and your affiliates won't get credited for referrals they actually drove.

Capture the referral code on your landing page
Read the
?ref=query param from the URL and store it in a session or cookie. Or drop in our one-line script tag to do this automatically. - 2
Pass it into your checkout metadata
When you create a checkout session on your server, include the affiliate code in the
metadataobject. This happens server-side, so no browser or cookie is involved. - 3
Point your payment provider's webhook at us
Copy your unique webhook URL from the Settings tab and paste it into your Stripe, Paddle, Whop, Polar, or Dodo dashboard. We handle conversion attribution and commission calculation from there.
